PRINCIPAL: Concentration in estate, gift and income tax law and the law of wills, trusts and estates. Provide complex estate, gift and income tax planning for an expanding personal client base; create wills, trusts, documents of incorporation, partnership agreements and limited liability company operating agreements; counsel clients in estate administration and guardianship matters. Represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service's Examination, Appellate and Collection Divisions, and District Counsel's Office. Represent clients before City/County District Courts regarding estate administration matters, and before the United States Tax Court, Federal District Court , and Courts of Appeal regarding federal tax matters.

If our office is not located where the client is located, we will arrange to meet with them at a mutually convenient location. Our clients are located primarily in Colorado (e.g., The law office of  Daniel C. Doherty, P.C., in Longmont, represents clients throughout northern Colorado, including the communities of Longmont, Boulder, Denver, Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville, Loveland, Ft Collins, Erie, Windsor, Superior, Lyons, Westminster, Brighton, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Thornton, Golden, Lakewood, Littleton, Englewood, Aurora and Evergreen; and in Boulder County, Douglas County, Denver County, Jefferson County, Arapahoe County, Adams County, Grand County, Larimer County and Weld County). In addition, we also have represented clients throughout the United States, from Maine to Hawaii, from Alaska to Florida .
